SPECIAL NOTICE FOR SHIFT REPORTING TO WORK ON THURSDAY SEPT. 17:

There is no volunteer transportation bus running today from Rafters Restaurant to the work site. Please drive directly to the Stott farm and park on-site (across the road from the farm). Thank you!

Thursday, Sept. 17, Shift Cancellations

All of the people working on the Hasken Construction Extreme Makeover: Home Edition project have done a fantastic job, and they are running well ahead of schedule. We offered volunteer shifts for the times that the production crew thought they might need help, which included a full day on the 17^th. They have now informed us that the following shifts have been CANCELLED.

Midnight - 4:00 a.m.
4:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.
4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
8:00 p.m. - Midnight

We are very sorry about this. We scheduled volunteers to make sure the crew had help when they needed it. There was no way to anticipate every potential change in the schedule ahead of time.

Please accept our sincerest apologies, and thank you for generously volunteering to work on this project.

Volunteer Sign-Up Is Closed!

Thank you very much for your interest in volunteering to help with the Hasken Construction Extreme Makeover: Home Edition build! We had a tremendous response to our call for volunteers and every shift was filled within five hours of making the sign-up site available.

You can still be involved!

1. In addition to the donated services from thousands of volunteers, we are also in need of financial contributions that will be used to purchase project materials and services that are not donated. Donations can be made online through a secure PayPal connection.
2. Of course, you will have the opportunity to visit the project site. Spectators are very welcome at the Hasken Construction Extreme Makeover: Home Edition build – you add to the overall fun and team-building atmosphere!

Please do not show up at the site and expect to work a shift for which you did not sign up. It is possible that this may work at times, but it should not be expected. Also, if you have signed up to work a shift and have not arrived at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the shift (7:45 for an 8:00 – 12:00 shift, for example), we reserve the right to give away your shift spot in order to keep a full roster of volunteers at all times.

Please arrive at the Volunteer Tent for check-in a half-hour prior to the start of your shift(s). When you arrive at the build, you will be asked to sign a Volunteer Release and an Appearance Release and Confidentiality Agreement.

Please review the Rules for Volunteers and Volunteer Do's and Don'ts and be comfortable with them prior to volunteering. Also please note that the build will continue RAIN OR SHINE so you will be expected to be there for any shift in which you've agreed to participate.
