Directions
If you have been accepted as a volunteer on the build, you should have received an email verification regarding your shift(s). If you received an email but the shift information section was blank, you are an on-call volunteer and will only be called to work if needed.
Please report to the volunteer check-in area behind Rafters Restaurant, 9426 W. Wagner Rd.,
Lena, Ill., a minimum of 45 minutes prior to the start of your assigned shift. Here you will receive your blue volunteer t-shirt and other information, and will need to complete paperwork (you can make this part go faster by downloading and completing the Volunteer Release and an Appearance Release and Confidentiality Agreement). DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DRIVE TO THE BUILD SITE you will be turned back. The bus to/from the build site will run continuously from Rafters there are no scheduled departure/arrival times. Please do not bring any personal items with you there is nowhere at the site where they can be securely stored (the exception is tools for skilled trades tradespeople, you should already have all necessary information about this).
Please remember to wear closed-toe shoes you will not be allowed to board the bus without them. Thank you for being a part of this community effort!
